6: Phil Osaer

Phil Osaer is the new USA Hockey American Development Model manager of youth goaltending programs. He is helping lead the development of netminders across the country, utilizing age-appropriate training and competition curriculum.

The former goalie was a NHL draftee who played 12 seasons of professional hockey before joining USA Hockey. The Michigan native discusses his background, enthusiasm for this new coaching position and provides tips for youth hockey coaches on how they can best work with their goalies.
